Changing the costs from percentages to point values would fix that. Max SP increases when your Pow goes up, as well as when you level up.


At level 15 with 30 pow, you'll get something like 300 SP.
At level 30 with 30 pow, you'll get something like 600 SP.

But if a spell costs, say, 5 percent of your Total SP, the point totals will rise as you level up, which is what they currently do. And that's the whole problem.

5 percent of 300 would mean a 15 point casting cost.
5 percent of 600 would mean a 30 point casting cost.


So instead, you just make the values static, so basic spells that cost around 15 SP would become easier to cast as you level, while higher level spells would need a much higher cost.
