A lot of Graal's community gathered to experience the early moments and new content was slowly being released. I remember creating my first sword, it was all so new at the time and everything seemed so nicely placed. The community consisted of a lot of people from every server so from the start most people already had friends. Sailing around was awesome and the graphics were quite nice at the time.
I'm sure G2k1 was the same when it was first released but I didn't get to experience it so I wouldn't know.
