Moderation and variety might be the key, but they are limited by a small and very, very selective playercount.
Many people don't join several events b/c they don't like them a lot. That makes sense, but Classic used to be able to get past this problem when we had 25-35 people online. But now that we're scratching to get to 15-25, if we're missing 2-4 people per event, it really kills things.
Sometimes you just got to keep hosting the same dozen events to get as many people as possible, especially in current conditions. When we have higher playercounts, we can open up the variety more since there are enough people joining to make up for the few who don't like that particular event. |
