I've had this idea for a while know, and although it's not revolutionary, I think it'd be fun.
Alright, so the basic idea is that each gang has its own "tag." Someone could do graphics in graffiti-style where the gang's initials are in it. The colors could match the gangs nickname color. In real life it's called tagging. You spray paint your gangs name on other gang's territory, and you can only tag in bases when no opposing gang members are in your enemies' base. Some of you might know about this concept from Tony Hawk games.
Example:
Tachi raids BH. Tachi takes the base. Since there are only Tachi members in the level, they can tag the base.
I think a reasonable limit would be 1 tag per minute per member. This meaning that if you had 10 members, you could put 10 tags on your opposing gang's territory per minute. That sounds like a lot but in reality raiding is fast paced.
There would be a scoreboard on which gang "owns" the most "territory", based off the criteria on how many tags a gang has put on other gangs territory. The only way you remove a tag, is to tag your enemies' tags. This replaces their tag with your own gang's tag, or if you're tagging your own territory it removes the tag completely.
Also, you could make the "tagger" an inventory npc.. Take could do the ganis and the icon can just be a bottle of spray paint.
With this "system" in action, it will show who is the most dominate gang. I realize gang points are a lot like this idea; but I just think this would be a cool addition to raiding. No longer would it be "Hey BB we got your base. Not like we can do anything... or not like we've left our own base completely open sitting in here. But hey, we still have your base." Unless era's players have just completely lost the "umph" to participate in gang activities.

Im not too sure if its possible to even consider implementing this system, because obviously you'd have to make it so you can only tag opposing gangs bases when on your own tag. That way you cant just spray "BB" everywhere on the gmap...
Anyway, I think this would promote raiding/defending/recruiting, so you don't have other gangs' names plastered all over your own base, or enjoy defecating all over your enemies territory.
