Yes, to answer your question like I already had, it is an april fools joke unfortunately. I fell for it until I realized they were only giving you 1 night to get the application done, and no coincidence that the day the applications were due was april fools day.

it was a pretty cruel joke since a lot of people probably got overly excited, but I guess it just makes the joke more funny.
