Hm I think I see what you mean...
The bottom doesn't seem cohesive with the rest. The bottom of the tank seems to be curving towards the camera a little bit. In exaggerated form, here's what I mean << attached image >> Take out the lighter colors you have on the bottom of the tank (the light in the beam as well as the color directly to the left and right of it) and take out the shadow. That should help out.

The more I look at it, though, the more I have to agree with Tom. The colors you used are excellent!
