Yeah the whole thing about me saying mines "suck" was part of a joke. It`s all just for a couple laughs really... although the mine detector is only useful when you already know their are mines, or when you are paranoid and expect them. Some kind of pre-warning may help (like the bump in the snow idea). Other than that, it`s really just an effective weapon that is rather fair, because anyone can use them.
