the idea is sound. I do agree that your top and bottom have way too many turrets and that with this configuration they can block shots. It takes time to tweak but i like the idea. Also you can take this up a level and make it team oriented.

Like team Alpha gets 40 bot kills total with the mvp (most bot kills) being playerx then team beta gets 40 kills total with the mvp being player y...then a special turret map comes up for just the two of them to blast as many bots as possible and when the time runs out a winner is decided
