The up and down view are both incorrect perspective wise and they are both pillow shaded very much so no offense. You could use with a new design style on the gun to have more grooves and such to get rid of the itch to pillow-shade much like every new beginner does.

I'll come with an edit later if I have the time.


Just did an edit with the shading and the colors. You're using to many close colors which makes it look like there's alot of pillowshading going on which is a bad thing. You should generally use more contrasting colors to get a better shine. It's a sloppy edit and I haven't done any graphics in a while. But it should explain it better.

I'm really trying to help you here so you need to chill-out this has nothing to do with an argument or the other.
