I don't but you sure seem to be so sure that he missed something.
Have you been a trial the way it is? It is very troublesome getting thrown into observer mode for 5 mins every 10-15 mins...
If stefan didn't want trials getting to kingdom islands then he would have banned them from doing so... the only reason they can't get on boats is because of trials being able to get easter items using boats...
