Nowadays, dithering is mainly only good for texture. Metal=do not dither. You're taking a reflective, smooth surface and turning it rough and rock-like.
You're also not defining the shape of a blade. The shading you have now looks kind of like a rough, roundish thing, rather than a thin, sharp blade.
While not being really being a critical comment, why the secondary lightsource?
