As for rotating it, the icon Could be animated into "And now it's a G! Then the 'raal Online' fades in, and there's the logo.", but that would require a vector graphics animator (one that stores the image as a series of geometric functions, eg "Circle with 3 lines" rather than "A bunch of pixels") such as Adobe Flash to animate it smoothly. (I suppose I could pixel animate each frame manually, but it'd be so much easier with a decent vector program...I just don't own one myself.)

Sorry to treat you like an idiot, but you didn't really specify which part you didn't understand, so I have to assume "All of it". Apologies if you've known Vector Graphics and Iconography all along.
Pepsi's logo is meaningful as it's on the billboard I drive past on the way to work, the vending machine at work, the shop on the way home, my fridge and on my tv. Product placement! It works as it's out there, it wouldn't really work for Graal in the same way.

Technically, there is nothing wrong with it, but at the same time as Graal is so small I think you need something that is related and meaningful to the game.

I saw the G in the 2nd one, I just didn't see what the first one was about, and assumed there was some meaning behind it.

I do think the best potential thing would be like these images:

But just the shield part with 4 images of relevance.
