And more specifically, where Stonehenge is concerned, it was most frequently used by pagan cults, often ones obsessed with death and/or astrology.
Also, Stonehenge was completed in three major sections, the last two I believe were during the Bronze Age, rather than the Stone Age. This being the case, body armor existed, though it could be categorized as crude or simply 'festive' in some instances.
