Because Graal has its own open-ended code which requires a lot more processing power to comprehend (the engine will never know what comes next in a script, it always has to look at the script to find out what comes next). With the advent of GS2, this became a lot better since scripts are now semi-compiled by the server when updated. But scripts still will never be able to achieve the power of a game that is pre-compiled all together such that every gear works in harmony. |
