kind of a similar situation, in some aspects, but not really. I dated a foreign exchange student my junior year of high school (it's now my sophomore year in college) and I feel hard for her. And apparently, she fell hard for me too. Well, the school year ended and she had to go back to Argentina. We (obviously) had to break up and say our goodbyes. We didn't have much contact for the first year to year and a half, but as of the past year we've talked a lot.
We've basically found out that neither of us are over the other one. We've had relationships since, but nothing in comparison. So, basically, we're trying to find a way to be together. But, right now, that's impossible. We're both busy with college. I'm going to visit her in December, and she's going to visit me a few months later, but that's basically all we have planned out. It's confusing.
