The concepts are pretty different.
Free handing something on a piece of paper is drawing in one continuous stroke (basically) while pixel art is zooming in on an image REALLY CLOSE and then making little dots...it's more like a mosaic. |
Smirt try to notice the words 'opinion' and 'own experiences'. I draw really well by hand and that helped me to understand pixeling a bit better. Lancelot9 drew by hand as well pretty good.
