Vista is caching the programs so it will work even if you delete some files, but the cache is probably cleared after some minutes/hours. That feature was existing in Mac OSX for a long time, although I don't really like it (Vista often displays multiple versions of the same folder when I rename it x-x)
About player list: in the next Graal version it will be optionable to use in-game player list (scripted playerlist) and in-game PMs. On Vista it will use in-game PMs by default.
About saving files: Vista is shading the Graal folder into the users AppData folder if you install it in Program Files as administrator and then start it as user, normally that should work fine. If there are problems with that then better install it into a folder which is writable for you. Eventually Graal could also use a separate user folder for downloaded files like it is doing on Linux/Mac (will be optionable). |
