There is ABSOLUTELY no difference between the case of the extension. Gif files and Png files both support transparency. Gif files need to use an 8bit palette for transparency, while Png files can either have an 8bit palette or be 32bit with an alpha channel.
As far as I know, the graal editor and GraalShop do not yet support 32bit Png files. I would stick with using 8bit offline, and upload 32bit online. |
