Okay, time for some technical addition:
You are able to dual wield any pistol/weapon that can but penalties apply:
Damage from the overall weapon is reduced by 50% (unless it's the same gun type)
Range of the D weapon bullet is rounded down/up to the S weapon
Average rate of fire for both weapons is adjusted to the D weapon
Delay is both weapons overall delay/2 x0.5
Giving the players endless customizability, as finding the right combination of pistol to ensure maximum damage and sparring capability will begin.
An example:
kv9 (s) g18 (d)
Damage: 13
Delay: 245 (ms)
Effects: The kv9's extrodinarily long range coupled with the g18's rapidfire creates an extremely strong and wide spread sparring weapon,with little ability to miss. However, the minute damage of the combination leaves it lacking on potential DPS that other combinations may have.
apripper (s) appierces (d)
Dmg: 16
Delay: 345 (ms)
Effects: The high damage of the Apripper coupled with the high spread and dual fire of the Appierces makes this an extremely adaptive combination. With medium range, high damage yet high delay, this ensures a good sparring/general pking combination.
r51 (s) kv9 (d)
Damage: 19
Delay: 385
Effects: With the r51's incredible damage augmented by the delay and range of the kv9, makes this a good medium-far range set, yet it's horrendous offset and little spread ensures certain death in short range situations.
Or simply put, each weapon asserts it's default trait when dual wielded, and both weapons delay are added together to form the final result. <- alternative |
