Pfff. Old thread. But seeing as I shouldn't create a new one when there's this old thing lying around, here:
-When using a grenade, there's a "glitch" that will freeze your opponent if he/she is on a ladder near the explosion. Same with mortar.
-You can use the crawl technique to sneak up on Base 1 and deliver a showerof mortars to the people who go AFK there because there's "protection in numbers".
-If you want to be the lamest person on the server, pick the Marine class, stock up on Pipebombs, equip them, and equip the Icecannon at the same time.
-While the crossbow may seem like a crappy weapon, it is actually very useful, especially with the sapper class (Hint: Sappers have a plasma Saber). You can use it in combination with either combat knives or a Gravitron, depending on the planet you play on. If you use the Gravitron, just "Range" your opponent after they are poisoned.
-While Gas Grenades may seem like crap, it's because they are crap. Waste of money.
-Also, When using any weapon like the kr90 or the Storm Rifle, again, just Range your opponent. Note: "Ranging" is not to be confused with "Running" or "Hiding".
-Speaking of hiding, if you have a jetpack, check this out: Fly on top of a barrel (The blue ones. Not the explosive ones, you idiot). Try to position yourself so that you are facing upward, all of your team symbol is hidden by the barrel, and most of your head/hair is hidden by the barrel. Once positioned, Crawl, and if you have done it correctly, you will be invisible to both radar and sight (Unless a person is holding down the "n" key. I'll discuss that in a minute), allowing you to ambush an opponent standing right next to you.
-Holding down the "N" key will display nicknames for a player, regardless of crawling or not. You can use this to spot people hiding behind barrels or behind trees (deathmatch).
