Ferry would take longer unless made faster.
but the thing is. explore the dungeons and submit a map.
one already been done for main dungeon.

all i'm saying is there is a ocean but its not big.

we could easily find a way to get there faster with public transport.

or...
if not extend the journey from island to island. extend it outwards. ocean outside the circle of islands. make it a boat / zepplin only place where a few islands are and maybe quests there too. and a place where you can unstick back.
