I don't think much players are complaining, but just wanting to have nice items.
Anyways, from what I know, cloaks were added for looks, as someone previously mentioned. In addition, Stefan and the Kingdoms team decided on having outfits be customized. From what I understand of this, each item will now be looking visible on players.
