No, we are not going overboard. Several people posting in the Zone forums have been warned repeatedly for a variety of things, and many, many posts have been deleted for the same offenses over, and over again.
Action has to be taken because talking/warning is doing no good at all, and the Zone forums are out of control.
It is not a hard concept at all to post constructively on this forum, and if it is a hard concept to you, don't post.
More than half of the posts in almost every thread has been who owns who, and who is better than who on Zone.
One person gets mad because another says "I own you", and then we have a whole thread of insults, and flaming out of anger beginning with one persons big ego.
Keep it on Zone, and off of the forums (meaning spar/fight to show you are better on Zone, not insult people).

i'm not asking for someone to talk about a ban, i'm asking what are the ways to be bant for 'flaming'. If you tell someone that whatever they said was just stupid, do you consider that a flame? (what's the basics? if someone says something insulting, and it doens't esqulate, is that considered a 'flame'?)
And yes, you guys went way, WAY, overboard with that 2 month ban. You realize that if someone were to post on the forums, and had bought 6 months of Gold time, he'd only be able to post 4 out of the 6 months that HE BOUGHT! so he would have wasted his money in a sense, because he just lost out on like 4/10ths of the time he was supposed to get on the forums. And your banning them from the ENTIRE forums, not just Zones. 2 months is a little too much, i glad somethings being done, don't get that wrong (got tired of telling people to stay on topic, and stop 'flaming') but i would think that the 'flame' ban would only be like 2 weeks tops...when i got bant for 'dis-obeying' you or w/e u said, i only had a week...so your telling us that were better off defying Forum Admins rather than 'Flaming'? think about that x.x
And please, like i mentioned above, please be more specific on what you guys consider a 'flame' (people may think differently, one person might think that one thing is a flame, when the other person dosen't...could become a problem) so could you possibly make a list of what is considered a 'flame' and what isn't? And like they said, bahamutstevetff should have a shorter ban because that thread was posted afterward. Or to be fair, how about you guys ban everyone that has flamed on the threads, this way your not just picking on one guy. It was very unfair that you pick a random individual to ban, when like you said;

so why was only one bant? your randomly picking someone out without thinking about the others that have flamed. It wasn't fair.
