I can't see monsters on a futuristic server. But overal I dislike the idea. It would be way to easy to earn money by sitting around killing monsters. Also this would take to much work. There would need to be an entire new planet created along with a bunch of npc's (I think there called that). I do like the idea of a sparing arena but the focus of your post is on the new map. Describe the arena a little more.
