I am what, legit level 25? I have more fun idling in trade and watching people trade items, then going out a "leveling," where leveling is actually sitting there, and hitting the space bar.
I perfer to be in battle mode with armor to actually do something, all the armor I use would have a level requirement SO god damn high, I couldnt use any of it.
So No, no level requirements for GK if you want old players to continue playing, and if you want new players to leave, due to the retardidation of this.

Maybe you should just get your lazy butt out of the trade where you "idle" as you call it. And if you prefer to duel and PK, you could make a system enabling players to gain expirience for killing other players.
Anyway, if you want to just sit around, do it! You don't need to look cool, by getting the "leetest" armor, and i only see it as fair, if someone is higher level than you, and beats your butt, cause he deserves, he worked for it! And if you really do, buy some cheap clothes from the shops at main. This is the only MMORPG that aint turn based, why not enjoy it?
Allright i've got some more ideas:
1) More advanced quests. I would love to see a quest rewarding you with expirience, and maybe something very useful, or special. Also it could be cool if one quest lead to another quest, leading to another, rewarding you good.
An example:
You head to Bomboria, and when you enter the shop, you find someone with, for example a question mark/extension mark over his head, showing he has something to tell you. He tells you to talk to some other NPC, who then tells you to go to some dungeon, and kill some lord, which ALWAYS respawns there. When i was new i almost pissed my pants when i saw this evil mushroom jumping after me.
2) Add some clothes changer like in Zone, where you can browse all suits, heads, and so on, but for a cost. I am tired of having to go to Bogenera to get a haircut, then head to some other town to get shoes and so on.
3) Add more wizard armor, like robes, more hats, capes and other things. This would also encourage roleplaying, cause i for example, don't feel like a mage when i wear big armor and stuff like that.
Thats all this time. Discuss.
More ideas:
1) Add some sort of underground town, or a small colony of miners or something, where you can sell your minerals and maybe buy some too, but for expensive prices, cause it should still be rewarding to mine. Also you should not be able to buy there.
2) Why are there no shops selling low armor for a fair price? All the things i see are atleast 100 platinum! If you were unlucky to start with a spell that the GFX team hadn't fixed/completed, you should atleast have the chance to buy a cheap low level scroll. There should also be more things to craft, like a full bronze/gold/iron set. It would be awesome to have leg armor, and a model for it.
3) To increase RP, you should be taught on the starting island how to RP and what not to do and such, since many new ones have no idea what RP'ing even stands for! I know that the starting island is being remade, but this would be a nice addition.
Thats all for today.
