Are you using the programs i showed you? (animation shop 3 or paint shop pro x?)
If your using Animation shop 3, don't go to animation<replace color< and then the color you want. That takes away some colors that are close to looking the same. So instead zoom in to like 1500% (using pspx terms) and slowly go over each pixel with the brush...it shouldn't take to long, since the armors only use 2 colors (the normal color, and a darker shade of it)
