A nice simple photoshop overworld tutorial

Thought i'd share the knowledge, things would probably come out better if you did it by hand anyways.

1) Create a new image of any size.
2) Set image mode to grayscale.
2) Set your colors to black and white. (Push D)
3) Filter > Render > Difference Clouds a couple times (2 or 3)
4) Filter > Stylize > Trace Contour
5) Play with the settings until you get seomthing you like.
6) Set the image mode to RGB color, and color it in.
7) You could generate these and detail them later or use them as a plan.


Here is a quickie I made, not the best, but good for coming up with an overworld or something like it.
