That's boring... Everybody would just use the Black armor. How does heavy armour increase your speed? How does armour affect how much damage your bullets/grenades do?
You have to balance this crap out, and try to make everything worth using so the players have a real choice to make. Different suits would do different things... They'd each have their pros and cons.
- Things like a resistance or immunity to fire, ice, poison, or electricty would be neat...
- More melee damage would make sense, since these seem to be power-armour suits.
- The ability to carry bigger, and heavier guns
- The ability to throw grenades further.
- Improved accuracy with the automatic weapons (cut down on spray during long bursts)
- Improved defence, and reduced speed would be a given for each suit.
