It will also affect a large, not currently subscribed user group. From what it sounds like, and from what people have said in the past in "Goodbye" threads, is that they'd love to stay on the forums, but don't want to spend the cash to get game access as well.

This low-price option would be forums-only, right? Then if people wanted to play the game on Gold/Private servers at
all, they would have to get at least VIP. What is there to lose? If people are still playing, they're playing the classic servers for free anyways.
Oh, and VIP being slightly more expensive? It's 150% more expensive than the option we're talking about here. If VIP was its old $19, then maybe that would have some credence. For Canadians such as myself, as of today, this $10 USD plan would cost us $12.16, while VIP (at $25 USD) costs us $30.41. That's a
huge difference.

Be that as it may, this forum has community, and a good one at that. People enjoy spending time here just as much as others enjoy spending time in-game.

I don't quite understand how one has to be actively playing to contribute to the community, be it on the forums or even in-game. We all have ideas; we can all critique; we can all contribute. Just because we may not be in-game doesn't mean we're useless.
Forcing people to pay for a game they don't want to play, just so they may visit the forums and talk to friends or whatnot, is turning away a lot of the "aging" players -- players who are getting tired in the monotony of Graal, but still enjoy spending their time here; people like me, and many who have voted and voiced their opinions in this thread.
