Or just do the same thing that's done with the starting items that the "Gods" take away if you drop.
And PC (edit: for the newbies: Pirate Crew- the old name for the pirates RPing guild) had the same thing on G2k1. I remember freaking out cause I got like 3 hats out of the blue when I joined PC. I was probably somewhere along the lines of "OMG I'M RICH!!!"...
