Yeah, just for clarification for everyone. The grenade flies through the air closed... Rolls/Bounces a short distance on the ground to upright itself, and
then it opens and flashes red before exploding.
Vulcan also suggested to me on AIM that the colours of the grenade be darker, saying it would better fit Zone. I don't play Zone so I don't know... Maybe he's right. But I figured since the weapon is more futuristic (Using energy waves, and not gun powder, or TNT like we can today) it would be better if it were a bit brighter, and shinier... Kind of like how on Halo all of the human weapons resemble weapons we have today, and are all black... Where as the Alien weapons are more technologically advanced and have bright colours on them. I thought it would be a worth subject to discuss here... Thoughts?

The particle thing Vulcan mentioned might work good... I wouldn't know I haven't used v4... And I'm under the impression that it's still in the testing phase. Perhaps until v4 is mainstream the use of a light effect would be a good idea. I tried making one, hosted
here. It might not have the right perspective, I tried to make it seem like it was parallel to the ground on Zone... If it's not right, someone else could try. Either way you can use a ring light effect along with a Zoomeffect to make it spread out, and get dimmer as it gets wider.

either way i like your grenade shape.

Hahaha, I don't play Zone either... I haven't been on Graal in a couple months. I'm guessing Icera is the snow world? I forgot about that. The black outlined version definatly looks different, thanks for the tip... maybe it will help it out on Zone. I guess some Zone staffer can decide whether or not they use the one with an outline, or the one without.
Thanks for the compliment.

Yeah, for the more basic cores I was thinking this:
Basic Core:
Wave Radius: Average
Core Warmup Time (How long it flashes before it explodes): Average
Disorientation factor (How long you're knocked down for, and how long your keys are scrambled for): Average
Chance of HP Damage from Blast: Average
Sweeping Core:
Wave Radius: High
Core Warmup Time: High
Disorientation factor: Low
Chance of HP Damage from Blast: Average
Concentrated Core:
Wave Radius: Low
Core Warmup Time: Average
Disorientation factor: Average
Chance of HP Damage from Blast: High
Refined Core:
Wave Radius: Average
Core Warmup Time: High
Disorientation factor: High
Chance of HP Damage from Blast: None
Flash Core:
Wave Radius: Low
Core Warmup Time: Low
Disorientation factor: Average
Chance of HP Damage from Blast: Average
Note: This is just a rough draft to explain the idea... Each core would have to be balanced properly later on... It might not even be a good idea to use some of these types of cores... But you should understand what I'm thinking of now.
But yes... I agree. A confetti core for sure.

I don't really know why people would use them though XD. Perhaps for taunting. They'd just be funny.
