oh, but it does affect us! At least the Dev community. As rival PW makers, we are always striving for help. Now when you have servers for sale at such a low price, kids figure "why work for one when I can buy my own!"
So Now we have 200+ Playerworlds, with Developers spread all over building 20% of a playerworld, then giving up. You've seen it. Look in the Playerworld forum and there is always a Server in need of Help.
If the playerworld renting fees were higher, then there naturally wouldnt be as many, forcing Dev's to work for an already existing playerworld, making it possible for that playerworld to actually finish. And when you have many bright imaginative people working together, The result is always better than say 1, and 4 of his friends.
This probably wont happen because the cost benefit is in the long term and has risks. New quality playerworlds bring in more players who buy accounts.
You can't blame them, a large portion of the company's income is from Server renting fees. It is a drastic move, but I feel it would be good for the company and the graal community, giving it a chance to grow in size.
