When internet providers offer "unlimited access", do you think they are claiming that it will last forever? That as the dying embers of our mother sun wink into nonexistence, their servers will still be standing ready to process your requests?
No. In fact, they are merely saying that there are no limits to how much data can be transferred. The meaning of the term 'unlimited' must be determined by context. If it is simply referring to the ability to access a service then it is unreasonable to assume that there is any temporal component.
