What legitimate proof could you provide? PM history? That can easily be faked. Screen shots? Also easily faked. Witnesses? They could easily lie about it for a cut.
Players with malicious intent could go all day saying, "So and so scammed me. I demand retribution now!"
There are procedures set in place already by staff to make scams less of a threat. Safe trade (dragging and placing item over another player) and the tables are perfectly secure ways NOT to be victim of a scam. You take the risk of having items stolen if you try something else.
Now when it comes to people selling items for US and getting either the items stolen without payment or paying and not receiving the items, that's the player's own fault for trying something already looked down upon by staff. |
