I thing there should be a reset but only AFTER more care is taken to balance the game and bugs are fixed.
I don't know if its just the style of game that I like best differs from the style of graal or if graal needs work, but I personally don't like the idea that new footsoldiers in a military are expected to have (because game mechanics support it) ancient legendary mithril armor and religious artifacts of great might. I am glad alch as finished because it takes those rare items out of the USD-only circuit but now if you want a rare artifact you just need to dig in a pot.
Another factor is that with all monsters easily defeatable by lvl 25 the only challenging thing is pvp pking and being half way good at that requires total focus on maxing out game mechanics.
Right now it won't matter if there is a reset, it will just take time to unbalance itself again and we'll be here once more in 6 months.
What needs to happen for a reset to work - I think - is that lower level players and mid level players need to be able to have a stronger role in kingdoms in general and be able to 'adventure' in the lands in a rewarding way so that while it becomes harder to lvl it is just a part of greater activities and not repeative kill-mining on maps.
I bet that 90% of the xp most players have was gained by fighting monsters that were no challange to beat other than large amounts of time. Either you mine xp on maps, mine maps in the HHs, or mine plat for maps in various cash raising proceedures.
My opinion is that a reset can erase the effects of the game being unbalanced, but it can't change the fact that it is unbalanced and till it is balanced it really won't do any good in the long run. |

"Why, of course! It's just a name, like the Death Zone or the Zone of No Return. All the zones have names like that in the Galaxy of Terror."
