I'm going to HAVE to agree, AS2 uses...

I'm going to HAVE to agree, AS2 uses eventListeners for the win. We should as well, in GS2, as I've seen a number of similarities already in the 2 scripting languages. Not to mention how bloody handy...

THANK YOU!! oh man was that getting annoying.. this method worked perfectly for me, first try. couldn't get a gmap to load if i uploaded it while i was on another map... kinda lame i'd say rofl

What about if you use the player's x, y, and screenwidth to determine the x and y of the bounds of the current 'viewport'

ie. player's coords are (30,30), screenwidth is 1024, 30*16=480, the left...
