All the guilds on Graal2001 (n00b guilds) try to be one or like one, haven't you noticed?

A long time ago, Graal was around version 0.5 (well, I really don't remember the version number of something I used over a year and a half ago). I had just recovered from the shock of the transition from Zelda Online, and my nick was still "Gandalf the Black" =P. Guilds were at that time just people with the same tags in their name. Most guilds would designate someone as the leader (generally the founder), but that was it. I decided I wanted to make my own guild with some kind of organization. I got a few people together, and planned something called the "Frostblades". This guild was different; it had a complex heirarchy, ranks, rules and salaries, and we planned to make guild members do work. I set up a website, and someone told me I should get an award for "Most Organized Guild". Well, I might have.

Except the guild only had 5 members.

Within a week, the whole thing had bombed. My guild island (yes, I was planning an island with a large area and even a complex storyline) remained as a pathetic few levels with houses in 'em. Eventually my guild website was removed from the links area of the Graal website (because I wasn't updating it). I decided I'd had enough of guilds, and wandered alone for a few months before I suddenly decided I didn't like Graal anymore and left.

Well.

Over a year later, I came back, finally deciding that paying for Graal wasn't so bad. Here's what I found: hundreds of guilds, most with only 10 members apiece, but with complex heirarchies and ranks. Most amazing were the kingdoms, who actually had the men to fill in the varied ranks. And in Graal2001: jobs.

Now, I'm not sure what happened during the time I was gone. Perhaps some guild came up with the same idea I had and sparked hundreds of guilds just like it. Or maybe they even followed my lead, and I created this whole idea. Even less likely, maybe Stefan Knorr took my idea of jobs and used it.

...Well, it's probably not the case. But either way, I'll be giving autographs and selling my toenail clippings for $8000 apiece :D

i've played graal for 2 years this january, i started in 1.34...
1.32 wasn't one and a half years ago...

oldbies would know about other oldbies still being around or not.

all of a sudden people pretend to be oldbies from ZO, i doubt even 60 people played ZO. I know in 1.1 the max people online was like 20 at a time. In 1.2 it quickly became 40, and then even more.

I played in 1.32 or 1.34 I'm not sure all I know LostWorlds was around and I had fun there!

lotsa people call me a n00b but it doesnt bother me cus Im not new to the game, and Im not stupid, and I know about the game so Im not a n00b im a uh uh uh uh uh Maturing Middlebie yes thats it...lol and um it was back when i WAS a n00b cus I had all the quests to do and stuff. Wandering around gettings stuff, getting money, getting killed, getting sworn at lol, and then I got everything and still got killed and sworn at damn lag lol,
and um um I admit im not an oldbie but even so graal was still fun for me back 1.39 and when I finally am an oldbie I wont even have anystories to tell cus I cant remember anything that i did!!!
other then wander around crimegraal and stuff and then be like where am I and i kept getting some wierd weapon calle dchickenmech but it didnt do anything. and stuff.....

Don't believe me? I don't blame you... I never really was all that popular in ZO. But I'll prove it.

The boss of ZO was in a little cave where the castle was in Link to the Past. It was surrounded by green rocks, so you needed the power glove (there was only one power glove). The boss was a little green guy who later, until recently, ended up guarding the bridge on Graal Classic. Also in the room was the princess, who he'd captured. He didn't fight you, there were just a few red baddies. When you beat them, you beat ZO.

I came around in 1.2... blahahahahahahaha.... uhm.. well... yah I never joined a guild until about 1.34 or so...... hee hee.... and the Kingdoms nowadays are being ruined but don't worry because all the kingdoms will be moved to a new server.... :D
