Newby Cash

As a so-called n00b first logging onto to the 2k1 servers, I found it increasingly difficult to make money. Not because of the jobs, ( which I love), but because of the fact that it costs money to take those jobs. Pearl Dive is an unfair advantage to Bomys, because it allows them with an easy and unexhaustable source of wealth. As it is, the only way to get started in the 2k1 economy is by PK'ing, borrowing some from a more grounded player, or winning an event. The first two are hardly the ideal options, and the odds of winning an event at newby status are slim to none.

What I propose is a simple, small amount to cash given to the player when he or she first logs on. No more than 30 gralat; just enough to make a start mining, fishing, et cetera. I feel this would greatly help make the server more "newby friendly," thus bringing in more traffic and interest to the p2p accounts.

This has already been discussed.. and as I already stated once before.. people would just give the money to one of their friends and reset their accounts.. of course it MAY work now since you have to get an admin to reset your account.. but still I would find it unfair if someone could reset their account and get money every time like that =/

Stefan had a party once with Balloons and that day he added a guy in the Hotel and he would gie you 30 gralat only and that was good thing but he took it down the next day I wish hed put it back! :D

LOL
and the newb would loose it to the first pk who walked along....
well we could make the money "towards buying only" and not let them give those 30 graalat.... of course you can still buy anything under or at 30 and give it to another account or actually pay anything over 30.... heh

i don't even bother with money on new main anymore since my account was deleted without my permission and stefan will not transfer anything i had to my new one.
blah blah blah.

I usually dont listen to people with 4 post but in answer to your plea, one of the whole missions in my opinion on graal is to get money for a fishing pole or mining tools to get you started.

The way I did it was hang around PKers paused until they killed someone then run in and grab the money. If I was friends with someone on there back then then I would have asked for money but you have to make new friends and find ways to earn it or steal it.

Humans should start with Rod 1, that way they can't really give it to a friend and reset...I mean, who really wants Rod 1? You can't sell it, so it's not worth anything...
