EC stuff

when im playing ctf or team event im just wondering why there only one person getting the ec while everyone worked for it? look like same people win over and over, why not put a script giving ec to the winning team(team events exemple:CTF,jailbreak, etc)?

i dont think a newb with ak47 have a chance to beat someone with a lugar or a dual deagles lol.

ECs were originally created to be a rare commodity on the game, and weapons like boomerangs and flak cannons would be a near impossibility to recieve. All events were designed in this way so that only one person would get the EC, and each ET would only host about one event for an EC per day and the rest just for fun. Now, ECs are easy to get and most event items aren't that rare anymore, however people still like narrowing events down to a sole 'winner.' Therefore, most events end with an LMS.

If you disagree, your best bet for inducing change is to speak with the new ETA once he is chosen. Should be fairly soon according to Squirt (not meaning today/tomorrow, but in the near future).

I don't like the idea of giving Ec's out like candy, your best bet is to just keep trying.

How about some more novelty items to give away

because they feel as if giving EC to an entire winning team is too much

The new events system that Sales will be working on soon (and transferring to the main server?) works on a point basis, and awards all players in some way for participating.

Yes, I would like to create something similar to this

i did not take UN has an exemple, its just unfair for some people.

if a newbie make his team win in ctf, what do he get, nothing.

then any got pker/sparrer will win the ec in a lms. quite unfair

It isn't zod either lol.
However, it wouldn't be right to award a team with a player who didn't do anything.
For example, 1 player works really hard, and then there's a noob who just hides.
Do you think the noob deserves an ec?

sam_is_me 09-08-2009 02:15 AM

I agree on a point that the winning team should all get something, but I don't believe it should be even with 1 ec.

That's why a transfer to the system mentioned before would be a great idea, imo.
