So i was looking at the top 10 events/spar wins for this month and noticed this.

Top 10 Sparrers:
1. Crono1508 - 1423 wins/428 losses. Best winning streak: 33. Points: 4171
2. Link - 1134 wins/418 losses. Best winning streak: 35. Points: 3334

Personally, I find it hard to believe someone has a 33 and 35 win streak in Town Spar. A legit streak like that pretty much never happens.

I suggest scripting something that notifies on RC when someone gets a streak higher than 10 to make sure they aren't cheating.

Ex.

"Account has won 12 spars in a row in un_townspar-lobby.nw Cheating?"

it's possible to get a 30+ streak, but if it happens it's mainly vs awful sparrers.. i had a 47 win streak a cpl months ago and i'll admit it was mainly vs lavaman and other god awful sparrers

personally i think the whole top twenty idea is lame anyway, it's just whoever is on the most wins.. i'd rather see something like.. if you win the most MST's in a month you get a hat ticket, something along the lines of that

I like this idea better cause you can't really cheat the system.

it shouldn't count spars with a person that you have sparred already until you spar someone else

I think it'd be more realistic to set a limit on how many times it counts vs the same person. I'd like to think that if I want to spar somebody of equal skill a few times that I wouldn't be immediately penalized for doing so. :)

I can speak for myself, and mine is legit. And I also did it in front of a crowd, may I add.

Personally I find it hard to believe that people like to spar that much in a months time.

It really isn't enjoyable, and I found that out fairly quickly after the first 300 spar wins. The only reason why I've sparred as much as I have at the moment is because of Link.

I don't see a problem. The more often you spar the higher you will be in the rankings, it's never going to actually represent who the best sparrer is.

It's common sense yet no one in the field hasn't even thought of this x.x

But. . . 30streaks are somewhat beleavable; I mean look at Renee, she got a 52, months after Brett got a 48 ^_^ it was all legit, I even watched :D

i got a 30 streak b4 but i lamed mine against ares all day...

QS had a 52 streak, he beat my highest of 48 T__T
