Ingame support center.

Sales recently added a new ingame support center! He added it because some staff either ignored the pm or were to busy to answer. It has three features. One being support ticket where you can select the catergory and the staff member of what you want to complain or suggest to. There is also an FAQ section where you can ask some questions such as how to make money. Last, they is the view ticket section where you can view your closed or open ticket and see if any staff member has replied to it. In my opinion I think it is a great feature to contact staff.Now lets see what some of eras plays have to say.

Vman13x: What is your opinion on the new support center?
Days: I think its a good feature to have because now we can contact staff easier and actually get replies.
Vman13x: Very cool, so do you think you will ever use the center?
Days: Yes if I have a suggestion or a complaint about something.
Vman13x: Interesting, is it more useful or useless?
Days: Id say more useful.
Vman13x: I see, well thank you for your time Old_Days.

Black: I think its a great addition to era because now staff will hear what we gotta say.

Black: Not unless I have been jailed for a bad reason or something.
Vman13x: Is the center more useful or useless?
Black: It is more useful.

Jake: I personally like it because now I can get staffs help or I can talk to them easier.
Vman13x: Ya I like that too, so will you ever use the center?
Jake: Yup, for reasons such as getting scammed, complaining, and giving suggestions.
Vman13x: Do you find the new support center more useful or useless?
Jake: I think its more useful for people.

FAQ Removal

Era’s FAQ Team once again has been remove from Era. Most players think its due to the FAQ department being pretty useless and never get any new newbies asking them questions.
The FAQ team been replace with a Support Center System that will help you with the basic questions that every new players asks. It also has a Submit Ticket option, this was added on there so staff can answer the questions if they’re not online. To help with a development issue or a corruption issue if you like to know more about it feel free to look at Sales thread

Gas Chamber Scandal!

This week Vin (Events Team Member) hosted a Gas Chamber event with the name of “Concentration Camp” ! Several players were offended by this. Staff took control of the situation and the fired the ET, along with another ET that did this aswell! Staff are considering making a command for the ET to make calls with default messages. Vin posted a apology at the thread were this scandal was the subject, although this didn’t help him being fired.

If you see any Staff member doing a similar thing, make a support ticket right away!

Battle of the Bands 2!

Staff recently hosted Battle of the Bands 2! The prize was the instrument of the winners choice. After an epic battle Old_Days came out on top. Although he came late to the competition OR there was a problem with his inscription he had to go on the second round automaticly. The song he played was Jurassic Park which got four stars and made him the winner. He chose the harp as his instrument.
Many people think BOB1 was better, but we hope Comic club staff will continue doing this event J.

Safe to say you have been defeated, Chris.

Anyways, I'm going to add.... to "better" your fan-base and not provide "propaganda"... you might want to expand your interviewee list to three types of standpoints.
Ex. Those who Support it, Those directly affected (negatively), and those "neutral" to the matter and see what exact opinions they have. Not just find 3 random people.

For this: An FAQ Team Member (Affected Negatively), Black (Neutral), and probably Sales, Squirt or Chris Vimes (Supporters).

That way we receive thoughts, concern and an idea of what is going on from all perspectives.

Why did they remove FAQs?

I did not want to interview an faq member for a reason, I chose black because hes been around for awhile, I interviewed jake because I wanted a noobs point of view, and well I was going to interview a pr, but all were busy or not on x_x.

He didn't want to interview an FAQ member most likely because I was the only active one, and I was away for the week.

What he said was true, he was the only active faq, and wasnt on at the time thats why I wanted to interview a pr instead.

Or the recent FAQ Admin. You should have selected either the newb or the veteran. They are both from a neutral standpoint, of course I'd select the newb because he's more likely to use the function more. And it may be of more assistance to him, the veteran would just speak... to speak. Also, maybe you shouldn't do your interviews at once and actually select people in advance and schedule them. So you get who you want and who'd make the news more "interesting". Those interviews were all dry and weak.

Also, be aware of bias.
Some could say you only interviewed Black as a way of getting on the "good" side of your boss in your gang. If you're going to target a group for an interview, target the "top" of that group. Ex. Staff (Manager), Newbs (The Newest or as close as you can get) etc etc.
