Nerf Bow and Flak please

If you're going to suggest something, at least back up your suggestion with reasons why.

Why nerf the Flak? It's two of a kind, and the two people that have them are in two different gangs, so it's somewhat balanced.

They earned the flaks.

As for the bows, from what I heard, Squirt decided at like 5 AM to stock 3 Bows and people bought them, including himself. (not sure if this is true, just expressing what I heard)

I never stocked an ET item in my life. I hope that answers any questions.

Well, you may have not stocked it, but according to Frank (who was online) bows were stocked in the EC shop at 6 A.M. on a Monday night and you purchased one.

He also said that it was just you and Deophite on RC.

Obviously if all the bows were bought within the span of 5 minutes the server had plenty of people on. You would be hardpressed to find many people with 120+ EC.

Now that's a compelling argument.

I don't think that either weapon should be nerfed, though I do believe that they should be undroppable.

why does it matter if Frank was on? I don't think he even had enough EC since he recently bought a flak and was buying flak ammo without saving his EC

regardless if they were bought or not, why the hell did you pick 6 am in the morning to stock them? it's obvious that it was done so you would be guaranteed a bow.

As I said before. I never stocked a bow neither did I decide the date/time, but like I said before in my previous post. If the bow was bought out in around 5 minutes it couldn't have been that bad of a time since having 120 EC is not a thing a normal player has.

This does not need any arguments.

You try dodging the Bow's Arrows, not to talk about the Flak. The Flak is somewhat balanced tho, since it only does 15 DMG, but it's impossible to dodge a Bow's Arrows + it does 25 dmg. z_Z

Uh and a Bow is better than an M4? This ain't ****ing Disney Land.

did you honestly expect the bows to sell out that quick? it's nothing but a coincidence. that still doesn't really answer why they were stocked at 6 in the morning. regardless of how many people online had 120 EC, there were probably even more people that had the EC that didn't get a chance at getting a bow because it was decided to stock them at a time where maybe 1/4th of the average player count was online.

This is why I removed overpowered weapons from the EC shop.

I didn't expect anything to happen since I was never the one who stocked it nor did I pick the date/time. I don't understand why you're asking me the same question repeatedly when I already told you I wasn't the deciding factor in ANYTHING related to this. Also, I doubt it could have been a coincidence. Era has a strong European playercount as well that you are totally ignoring.

Squirt I just dont see why you stocked the bow...that's kind of unfair.

I acknowledge the fact that you didn't stock the bows, but you're acting like you had no idea that Deo was going to stock them. it's hard to believe. especially since the staff team is known for bias, corruption, and overall stupidity.

regardless who stocked it, there has to be a clear reason why they were stocked at 6 am.

I honestly didn't even know he was going to stock it. I didn't even know he was going to put it in the EC shop. Also, it's not like OMG this was the first time I was on at 6AM. You can ask Frankie or anybody. I work during the midnight shift at my job so I was always able to be found at these early morning times.

Hey so are you guys going to fking nerf the Bow and Flak or not?

We're still trying to figure out why Squirt stocked the lightsaber and bows (edit: and caltrops) at 6 AM EST in the first place.


And side note - strong European player-base is...a little over-stated. Hell, usually by 1-2 AM my time there's only 25ish people on.

I believe you, but you still have to admit it looked pretty suspicious so you can't blame me for thinking the way I did.

I think the shots should be a bit delayed, as if you were really pulling an arrow from a quiver, aiming, and shooting.

but they will justify it's power by saying "oh it costed 120 ec." so there's pretty much nothing that will be done.

I don't really play that much anymore so it's not a big deal to me.

Squirt has a whole arsenal of bows and flak cannons in his secret desert base of Area 51. He used them to take down an alien ship in Roswell. Then he used photographs to blackmail Deophite into quitting. Now, he's going to buff the bows and flak cannons just to smite you.

But honestly Squirt, why did you personally, at 6AM, decide to sign onto Graal, go on an ETA tag, and stock 323 bows and 211 flak cannons for yourself?

Instead of nerfing it, maybe this should apply:

1 EC = 100 arrows (instead of 1,000).

or 1 EC equals 1 arrow

1 EC is 1000 arrows? LOL
