tiledef troubles D;

Hey I wanted to add my tileset tiledef to graal editor so I can make some levels for the server im working on, but for some reason, when i use the same script I always use, it doesnt seem to work now. I even took tigs advice from another post of someone with the same trouble, just using eras tileset and it didnt work either.

tigs advice was to do the following.

1. Close Graal.
2. Go to your Graal Folder/levels/tiles/
3. Delete everything that starts with "tileset_era"
4. Delete "FILENAMECACHE.txt" in your main Graal folder.
5. Start Graal & log on to Era.
6. Restart editor.

I tried that, stil didnt work. It loads the tileset on the server, but not on graal editor

here is the script I use.

//#CLIENTSIDE
removetiledefs;
addtiledef KZTileset.gif,,1;

someone please help me fix it

thanks

Era staff gave you permission to use their tiles? o.o

anyway, if the tileset is working online and not in the editor, that means there's a problem with the file format. use a 16 bit png for offline usage.

It's got a different file name than the one in the script. Did you change the script?

Also, where in the Graal folder did you place the tileset?

Nope.

lol...

Use an 8-bit tileset offline, and 16-bit or 32-bit online.

However, he's using a GIF, which is always 8-bit, so that is obviously not the problem.

:)

Your little rant in the box is wrong. Now that they are used by Graal Online they are OWNED by Graal Online / Linux cyberjoueurs.

Because of that, they could be reused, but that is frowned upon.

When you upload anything to their servers you give up all rights of ownership.
