Lighthouse Lantern
 

Dear Tig.

I am sick of missing ferries because of their sudden departure speed after arriving. (Seriously, they stay at the dock for like 5 seconds now and then take forever travelling back and forth when it should be the other way around.)

If nothing can be done about this, I propose a handy tool item:


Lighthouse Lantern

A small handheld lantern which, when equipped, will alarm you when a boat is coming within a certain range. Never miss a boat again!

Basically it would need to make some kind of chiming sound in order to alert the player when a boat comes by. I do additional stuff while playing Kingdoms because multitasking rox, but it's really hard to catch the boats when they constantly speed off now before you can get there. (And I'm often running with at least 5 speed.)

Should be like an actual lantern you craft and you hold. Everytime you hold it and a certain ferry gets so close to the dock the lantern should change that color. Red = Samurai, Zormite = Blue, CP = White, Forest = Green, Dusty = Gold.

Might be a neat effect, but why not save it for when players are onboard the special kingdom ships so they can show off their colors?
