What do you call ingame currency?
A number of names have been thrown around over the last decade for Graal's currency, both in scripting and in conversation. I am curious, which name do you like to use for the ingame currency?
I'm going to be working on the gralat/gelat/rupee economy starting this week, starting with testing, and this question came into my head when looking at all the different documented names. If it isn't listed in the poll, post what you call it I guess. |

on Era i think most if not everyone uses american currency. Like usually when someone sells a gun they will say $10,000 instead of 10,000g or actually in this case most would use 10k.

I think I call them grelats, but I know I've used the two other terms before.

Rupees. Gelats seemed really odd, almost like they were trying too hard not to call them rupees. Then they changed them to gralats, which made no sense why they'd change them again. Now they also use them as a global currency, and that's just even more confusing.
Rupees are exactly what they are, but are scared to call them. |

Graalats, but apparently that isn't an option so Gralats.

They're Gralats.
If you could look "Gralat" up in a Thesaurus, the other option would be "Gelat". Kinda like cash, money, bread, dollars, currency, cake, ameros. I don't like calling them rupees, and have never seen anyone do so. I liked the Gralat graphic that would appear on Graal2001, although it made less sense than anything. |

Rupee, but mainly because of the scripting side of things referring to the currency control variable being called 'player.rupees'. I think other names, such as 'Gralat' itself, was just coined to further avoid the fact that Zelda has "Rupee" as well, but they'll always be a rupee to me.
