To ye' good ole

Era forums, I am announcing a rather unprecedented return to the server that has ruined my life for the last 6 years or so. Upon my return, with the approval of Daz, I have once again assumed ownership of Dippin Donuts. So grab your helmets and inhalers and let's party like Maverick died.

Incorrect use of "let's", the word "let's" is an abridged version of "let us". There is also an insignificant use of the period. Your attempts at sophisticated grammar are fail after fail.

Aside from your incorrect verb usage, as an American, your punctuation goes inside of the quotation marks. You also used an obsolete adjective (abridged). "Let's" is not an "abridged" version of two words, it is a contraction (its "official" name). If you're going to try and be grammatically superior, you should put your words and punctuation to proper use. Typing big words does not make you a linguistics major.

Numbers of less than three digits should always be typed out as words. This typically only applies to the typed word, not written works. "Dippin" as you put it, is an "abridged" word, and should be spelled as Dippin', with an apostrophe to shorten it and indicate the dropped letter.

A failure usually stands for the person or thing that is acting out the fail, and the fail is a verb.

Linguistics major man.

Boy, this stuff writes itself. Apparently, he just made you look look like a complete imbecile, ha.

Thanks fella, you saved me all of five seconds.

Fail is a 'future tense' verb. You don't say "Wow, Bart really fail," because that's implying Bart has failed sometime in the time to come (and it sounds silly!). You would have to say that 'he failed' to imply past tense. Failure upon failure, would reflect failing multiple times in the past. Failure is also a noun and a verb. The way you wrote it, fail upon fail is two verbs. Run upon run. Read upon read. Eat upon eat. None of those are correct. But two nouns, such as race upon race or book upon book (or failure upon failure, much like your posts!) is perfectly acceptable.

Troll harder.
