SQLite forums

Hey all
Just giving a quick note that I'm holding a public test of some forums I made with Graal's new SQLite database capability. Just doing a public test tonight before it's made public soon. If any of you want to see it, swing on over to Unholy Nation. It'll be added to you automatically. |
That's awesome, nice job.

Ambitious.

Nice idea and I love that gui style ^^
|
Wow, that's really nice.
|
Looks really good, nice job.
|
Looks really nice, love the gui style too :).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It's back down for the time being.
Crazily enough, it got about 600 posts this evening. It's a shame that I'm going to have to wipe them all clean while I tie all the loose ends for the forums to be released publicly |
Very, very, cool, and an awesome job it looks like, but I think it's a waste of time.
However, I applaud you; you managed to create an interface which looks nice. Very few scripters have this capability :\ |
Good work! That looks amazing; especially the gui/interface.
|
I was addicted to it. :(
|
Nice work, but I agree it's a waste of time, kinda. I'm sure it's a good experience, but I don't think a forum included into an online game has much use.

Looks cool :)

Most notably, it gives an opportunity for players to get involved with the server at their convenience. 600 posts in one night is a great start. If you funnel that into an opinionated topic about future development plans, it could become a powerful tool. It also functions as a way of conveying news without the hassle of NPC-Server PMs and what not. It really is neat, and a convenient tool for players to use! :) |
At first I thought it was waste of time, but I can actually see it being used quite frequently now that I think about it...
Great way to have player-staff communication. Can discuss development plans, bugs/problems, ideas, announcements, etc. Sure, you can always do that here, but having it built-in to the game is pretty convenient as long as it's user-friendly. Nice work |
