Quote:

Why add more CTF game modes to a GC system and ticket economy that is completely rotting away?
that why im saying, delete ctf

DarkCloud_PK 05-19-2009 09:04 PM

doesnt really solve anything

xnervNATx 05-19-2009 09:05 PM

its will solve the free tickets giveaway during ctf madness

and gc will now be able to host something DIFFERENT

DarkCloud_PK 05-19-2009 09:07 PM

i dont think CTF madness exists anymore
deleting CTF doesnt change how crippled the prize system and ticket economy is right now

delete ctf untill u found a way to fix tickets economy and put it back after with a 5 hours timer.

Crono 05-19-2009 09:18 PM

Ok, delete one of the few fun aspects left on Classic.

BRILLIANT.

If you really thought this through even a little you could solve the ticket aspect of CTF by

*GASP*

WAIT FOR IT...

NOT GIVING TICKETS OUT AT THE END OMG.

Mark Sir Link 05-19-2009 09:18 PM

how is the "ticket economy" amazingly an issue now when it wasn't pre NPC-Server

who cares if someone has a thousand tickets

I can only stay active on a dead server for so long at a time. I always server hop.

p.s I just defended my tag belt yesterday.

BlackSolider 05-19-2009 09:37 PM

Deleting ctf doesn't solve our problems, and we could fix them without deleting it.

Deleting ctf would also (as crono said) delete the only fun thing left on the server, though the 'fun level' has decreased over time with the decreasing quality of players.

@ crono's idea

We've discussed this idea in various forms. One idea was that any 1 ctf game would give tickets as normal, but any hosted soon afterwards wouldn't. Another idea was to have a "ctf token" instead of tickets for prizes, thus enabling GCs to host ctf madness without giving out 20 tickets easy. No decision has been made obviously, so keep tossing in ideas if you have any.

CTF hasn't been hosted in 188 hours, which is just over a week. I don't think the fad still exists as much as it did, but then again, neither does the playercount.

I wonder who is responsible for that. :asleep:

CTF madness still exists but the token system isn't made yet so if ever we do it, it's ticket free

EclipsedAngel 05-20-2009 12:42 AM

How about temporarily delete it so we can stop constantly going to CTF games that stop us from developing new material.

Err... how does players participating in CTF games stop developers from developing?

EclipsedAngel 05-20-2009 12:56 AM

Because CTF is always being hosted and a lot of staff go to them.
