A Tree in need.

Hi guys, me once more. I'm working on a tree for my friends server and i seem to have fallen into a rut... per say...I am still very much so a novice pixel artist so i am having problems shading this tree that we made. I know many of you are much better then myself so i would like to request a bit of assistance.
If anyone can even come up with a good color pallet it would be of great help.

-Thanks, Puggy.

I think I've seen this somewhere before. Is it on a server / posted somewhere else?

.

Yes that is correct, it is on the server "Tranquility" formerly "Dynasty".

That tree is very awesome, leave it as it is
But I have to agree with Rufus, it seems pretty familar as the classic style resembles...somewhat....blookat?

Google "Pixelation" (second result I think), check out the pixel art forum. There have been a lot of tree threads lately, I'm sure you can find some help there. And if not, you can always make an account over there and ask for help yourself :)
I myself unfortunately can't help you, but I hope my advice is useful.

Pixelation is a very very bad site, Pixeljoint is better :D!

They are two wholly different things. Pixelation is a site for critique while Pixeljoint is merely a gallery of sorts. Giving critique is pretty much useless 9/10 on Pixeljoint because people submit their stuff to the gallery when it's basically done, and no one hardly revisits them.

Pixelation has its problems, but if I'm looking to improve myself, it's definitely my choice over Pixeljoint.

The only problem is Helm *cough*

and PJ has a forum too,you know :3

You can get a lot of help of on the pixeljoint forums before you submit it.
