Missing bodies on linux OSs

The title is fairly self explanatory, has anyone else noticed this? Some bodies do not appear ingame for linux based operating systems. I've noticed this for both Ubuntu, and currently Fedora 10. Is there a potential fix?

I'd rather not become dependant on that old battered w*ore, I'm very fond of linux. There's a client version for linux, and so I don't see why I should be obligated to change my operating system.
